Shogun was one of the highest positions in Japan in the past. Shogun is the name of one of the titles in the Japanese military forces, referring to the commander or leader of the troops.
Samurai were one of four castes that existed in medieval Japan. Samurai occupy the highest caste. Shogun is the highest position that a Samurai Daimyo can occupy. De jure the Shogun was a level below the Emperor of Japan. However, de facto, the Shogun was the supreme ruler over all of Japan.
Imagine, if a samurai shogun was also a demon, for example a wolf or cat demon.
